This heavy-duty basketball tower features a 115 mm Ø steel post rolled to a gooseneck shape, supporting the backboard on a full steel frame. The backboard face projects 1.5 metres from the post, with stays included to brace the frame securely back to the top of the post.
All steelwork is hot dip galvanised for maximum corrosion protection. The backboard is an International Size model, manufactured from 18 mm PSP Multiboard, complete with regulation line markings and wrapped in a UV-resistant coating. A galvanised Samson Non-Sprung Hoop and net are supplied as standard.
Use with ground socket 060/046 if required.
Also available with a 2.4 metre overhang.
This version, while similar in design to others in our range, has been developed with the assistance of a Registered Engineer and uses a 140 mm Ø post rolled to achieve the extended 2.4 metre projection from the post to backboard face.
