When space is limited or a traditional court layout isn’t suitable, a multi-directional basketball tower offers the perfect solution.
This 2-Way (double) Heavy Duty Tower is a proven design, widely installed in council parks and schools throughout New Zealand.
Engineered for long-term durability, the system carries an Engineering Design Certificate and features a 100 × 100 mm RHS steel post with cross arms supporting two international-size backboards, each mounted on full steel frames with stays for extra rigidity.
Each backboard provides a 1.2 m overhang from the post, and all steelwork is hot dip galvanised for maximum corrosion protection. The backboards are manufactured from PSP Multiboard, complete with regulation line markings and a UV-protective coating for long-lasting outdoor performance.
Supplied with two galvanised Samson non-sprung basketball hoops and nets, this system is built to withstand the toughest environments.
The post can be permanently concreted into the ground or installed using an optional removable ground sleeve. In both cases, a solid and secure footing is essential.
