The centrepiece of this project is a motorised divider curtain, custom-branded in Haeata purple with a crisp white logo. It lets the gym run multiple activities at once while keeping students safe, with simple, secure operation via a keyed switch.
Structural preparations by Olympus Construction exposed the structural beams and provided load-rated fixing points for our brackets. The curtain system was supplied by Draper (Spiceland, Indiana, USA), shipped to Auckland and branded locally by Marketing Works, who laid out the mesh and vinyl at full size to apply the school branding with a clean, durable finish.
With components ready, we freighted the system to Christchurch. On site, an elevated work platform (EWP) supported a tight programme: Olympus wrapped up building-side tasks; our installers Joe and Fray fitted the brackets, drive, pipe batten and curtain; then Aotea Electric Canterbury completed the wiring at height and installed the keyed control.
After tensioning and test cycles, we checked clearances and handed over with a quick run-through of safe operation and daily checks. The result is an innovative, branded divider that stacks cleanly, travels smoothly, and turns one footprint into two safe, usable spaces, keeping timetables moving and activity zones clearly separated.
Thanks to Olympus Construction, Aotea Electric Canterbury, Marketing Works, and Draper for a smooth delivery, and to Joe and Fray for a tidy on-site install.
If your school, council or community facility needs safer separation and better timetable flexibility, we can scope a divider curtain that fits your structure, budget and timeline.
