Rosehill College – Upfold Basketball System

The Project

Rosehill College came to us looking for a better, safer, and more practical solution for their indoor basketball systems. Their existing setup relied on heavy portable units, high-spec and expensive, but not suited to the school’s timber floor. The constant movement was damaging the surface and creating ongoing maintenance headaches, and with limited space for storage, the units were proving difficult to manage.

Our Solution

The school originally wanted ceiling-hung units, but after a site visit, it became clear that the dome-shaped roof structure made that impossible. We worked through a series of options with them, eventually settling on motorised upfold units, custom-designed to work within the building’s structure and installed at a lower mounting height for optimal performance.

Each unit is key-operated, lowering into position in just a few minutes. This makes setup simple and eliminates the need for manual handling or long pack-down times.

The Outcome

The result? A reliable, low-maintenance system that fits the space perfectly and performs as intended. During final testing, our team was met by senior staff who expressed how thrilled they were to finally have a long-term solution after years of struggling with their previous setup.

Rosehill College’s new upfold systems are now ready for action, safer for the floor, easier to use, and built to last.
