Heavy Duty Basketball Tower – Glass Backboard

The Gymleader Heavy Duty Basketball Tower is a proven design, trusted for many years by councils, schools, and correctional facilities throughout New Zealand.

Constructed from 100 × 100 mm RHS steel, the post supports a fully welded steel backboard frame with a 1.2 m projection. The addition of top stays provides maximum strength and stability, ensuring long-term durability even under heavy use.

All steelwork is hot dip galvanised for ultimate corrosion protection and then powder coated in your choice of colour (black standard).

The International-size safety glass backboard (1800 × 1050 mm) is fully line marked and fitted with blue safety padding as standard. The system includes a Samson Non-Sprung Hoop, galvanised and powder coated orange, complete with a premier braided basketball net.

The post can be permanently concreted in place or installed using an optional ground sleeve for easy removal when required.
